Anthony-Thomas Chocolate Factory

Anthony-Thomas is a chocolate factory in Columbus, where you can tour the factory for free, and see how the chocolate is made.  At the end you get to try a buckeye, which is a peanut butter and chocolate treat.  During the tour, you get to see...

The chocolate before it goes in a mold.

The molds being filled.

The cooled chocolate in the mold.

The chocolates on the conveyor belt.

The chocolates being wrapped.

Other chocolate candies being made.

For Easter they make gigantic chocolate bunnies, and some were 200 dollars.  On the tour we were able to see the molds being filled with chocolate.

I thought it was really interesting to see the chocolate being made, then being able to try it!

About the Blog

I started this blog to record some of the many adventures I go on.  My mom, Terri Weeks, is one of the authors of the book Adventures Around Cincinnati.  Her book contains over 80 places to visit within a two hour drive of Cincinnati.  I have not only been to most of the places in her book, but I have also been to 37 states and 6 countries not including the U.S.  This coming summer, my family and I are going to Alaska for 11 days.  I am looking forward to going around in the R.V. and hiking on Matanuska glacier.  My mom also has a whole summer of adventures for us.  I hope you enjoy hearing about my adventures!
